- What version of Windows do I need?
VAT Converter is designed to run on Windows 98 or higher, so this includes 98, 2000, ME, XP, Vista
- Will the software slow my computer?
VAT Converter runs in the system background and can be accessed from the icon that appears in your system tray in the bottom right corner of your screen. The file size is very small and you should see no effect on your system performance
- What do I do if the hotkeys conflict with the hotkeys in my existing software?
If the hotkeys conflict with your existing software you can simply change these to mroe appropriate ones from the Setup screen.
- Can I change the length of time that the popup appears on screen?
From the setup screen you can specify how long to show the popup screen with the recalculated value and you can even turn this off.
- Does it work with Excel & Word?
Yes, VAT Converter is designed to be used with any software package where you can highlight the value or cell using the mouse or cursor and then hit the hotkey to recalculate.
- Can I specify how many decimal places to calculate to?
Yes, the default setting is 2 decimal places but you can change this in the setup screen at any time.
- How does it round the calculations?
You can choose how the value is rounded. The default setting is 'Normal' (e.g. 12.372 = 12.37 or 12.378 = 12.38) but you can modify this in the setup screen.
- Is the license a one-off fee?
Yes, the license cost is a one-off fee so it really is all you pay.
